Our History

Overseer Juliette Hicks Founder & Pastor

Overseer Juliette Hicks accepted God’s calling to the ministry in 1981 and was called to Pastor in 1987 under the leadership of the late Presiding Bishop, Dr. Rayford Bell. Her faithfulness to God and her leaders allowed her to be elevated to positions ordained by God.

 

God blessed her to become a Nationally Ordained and licensed Pastor through the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith (PCAF). 

She served as secretary on the National Executive Board of Directors, along with the Licensing & Credentialing Committee, the National Discipleship Committee, and was the first woman ever appointed Assistant Chairman of the United Pastor Alliance of the P.C.A.F.

 

     In 1987, Overseer Juliette Hicks founded the Holy Assembly Church of the Apostolic Faith, Inc.  Through her obedience to the call of God and her ministry of deliverance and healing have been a tremendous blessing to many, especially in the area of depression, sickness, substance abuse, along with other types of bondage.  

 

She has served as Overseer of the Eighth District for the Apostolic Overcoming Holy (AOH) Church of God, Inc.   She is currently the first Overseer and administrator for the Illinois State Council of the Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith International. She serves under the leadership of Bishop J. E. Moore, Diocesan Bishop of Illinois State and she is the Pastor of Holy Assembly Church in Kenosha, WI.
